Black Movie Hall of Fame Present’s Celebrate Black Cinema

On March 30th, 2022, KC FilmFest International partnered with the Critics Choice Association and Boone Theater to present Celebrate Black Cinema and the launch of the Black Movie Hall of Fame. The event was celebrated with a screening of Hold Your Fire, produced by Fab Five Freddie, music by JoBlaq and 10 portraits of the initial inductees of the BMHF, painted by Warren Harvey.
